Advocate services in Ukraine are provided by “RGS – Russian Advocate Group” (RGS).
In Ukraine, RGS offers the following advocate services:

· acting for the principal in criminal litigation;

· appealing against judgments in courts of appellate or review jurisdiction;

· conduct of civil cases under common law jurisdiction;

· conduct of cases in Ukraine’s economic courts (arbitration);

· appealing against judgments in courts of appellate or review jurisdiction;

· acting for the principal in labor disputes;

· drawing of documents necessary for proceeding (claims, plaints, petitions for appeal, appeals, statements, requests, etc.);

· preparation of expert advices on law issues;

· consultations in the field of criminal, civil, administrative, economic, labor, housing, or family law.

ІІ. LEGAL AID SERVICES

Legal aid services in Ukraine are provided by “RGS – Russian Advocate Group” (RGS).
In Ukraine, RGS offers the following legal aid services:

Consulting and legal aid support for customer’s activities.

1. Economic activities:

• Consulting on issues of economic law;
  
• Legal aid support for companies from their establishment to liquidation, including registration of companies with any organization and legal form, reorganization of businesses through merging, affiliating, splitting, separating, transforming, creating of subsidiaries, representations, affiliates;
  
• Stock registration, including preparation of required documents;
  
• Legal expert valuation of constituent documents of companies and entities and bringing them into compliance with requirements of current Ukrainian laws;
  
• Legal expert valuation of economic agents for potential investments;
  
• Consulting on issues of drawing, implementing, amending or terminating civil and legal agreements on any form of obligations specified by the Ukrainian Civil Code;

• Development of an optimal system for establishing contractual relations, including drafting texts of agreements;
  
• Legal expert valuation of existing or planned economic agreements of the customer;

• Appealing against a resolution of the tax inspection in a higher authority;
  
• Appealing against resolutions of tax authorities in the economic court, including preparation of required documents, acting for the principal in the court of the primary jurisdiction or in courts of appellate or review jurisdiction;
  
• Protection of customer’s interests against other acts or omissions on part of tax authorities contradicting current laws of Ukraine.

• Use of international treaties in company’s economic activities;
  
• Drawing texts of foreign trade agreements;
  
• Verification of the compliance with the effective currency laws in planning and implementing foreign trade transactions;

• Verification of the compliance with requirements of labor laws in effect on drawing labor agreements and contracts, as well as agreements on property accountability in full;
  
• Drawing of legal documents to regulate labor relations within a company:
  - personnel arrangements;
  - labor agreements (contracts);

• Defense of customer’s interests and rights during the settlement of labor disputes;

• Preparation of documents necessary for job placement of aliens in Ukraine.

• Consulting on issues of copyright and patent law;
  
• Preparation of drafts of licensing agreements on the transfer of intellectual property rights;
  
• Preparation of expert valuations on issues of the protection of intellectual property rights;
  
• Assistance in the course of patenting industrial property rights;
  
• Participation in negotiations with patent agencies;
  
• Drafting of agreements on licensing and transfer of intellectual property rights;
  
• Registration intellectual property rights (assistance in registration of trade and service marks, etc.)
  
  6. Antimonopoly laws:

• Consulting on the application of antimonopoly laws in Ukraine;
  
• Protection of customer’s interests in relations with antimonopoly regulatory bodies;
  
• Support to projects on the concentration of capital requiring permits of antimonopoly regulatory bodies;
  
• Consulting on issues of applying the most rational schemes of alienation of property, merging of companies, concentration of capital and their regulation under antimonopoly legislation.

• Preparation of findings on issues of the registration of customs documents by customs authorities;
• Consulting on issues of the application of Ukrainian customs laws;
• Consulting on issues of legal responsibility for infringement of Ukrainian customs laws;
• Preparation of preliminary findings on lawfulness of customs authorities’ actions;
• Solicitation of cases related to violations of customs laws of Ukraine.
